Archivists are Uploading Hundreds of VHS and Cassette Tapes to the Internet

The organization Vista Group recently uploaded about 200 VHS and cassette tapes from the 90s and early 2000s to the Internet Archive. According to Motherboard, most of the videos are documentary films or instructional videos, such as yoga videos or tutorials on how to install vinyl flooring or train a dog.

The group is adding them to the VHS Vault, an Internet Archive that contains more than 17,500 VHS scans in its collection. As of this moment, they are still busily adding more VHS uploads to the archive. Typically, the group adds about 50-70 per month.
